   Whitetail Heartbeat was started in 1996 to serve as a forum for the whitetail breeders across the nation, a place to share ideas and techniques, and to  unite the industry's many unique personalities under one common banner.
 
Since then the industry has gone through many changes and the "Heartbeat" has changed with it. Not only has the logo and overall look changed, the content has evolved as well. While we remain true to the original goals and ideals that the magazine was founded on, we have changed some of the content and structure in order to stay current and pertain to those subjects which are important to today's whitetail breeder.
